Brandi Shigley

June 6, 2011

If you don’t count Denver as a city with a vibrant fashion scene, you haven’t met Brandi Shigley.  Brandi’s vision for possibility, her unique sense of style, and infectious spirit have made her a beloved community advocate for the fashion entrepreneur. At 23, Brandi started making one-of-a-kind handbags and had a windfall of success that afforded the opportunity to feature her handmade work in boutiques from Paris to San Francisco. Using her first hand experience traversing the ups and downs of running a business, Brandi embarked on her biggest challenge yet. In 2004, she opened Fashion Denver – a showroom for area designers, a spot to pick up tips in her popular workshops, and home to her personalized business consulting. Now, Brandi uses her successful enterprise to share her knowledge and expertise, but more than that, she encourages folks to do what they love and love what they do.

And, as if all this weren’t enough, Brandi enjoys playing music with her band b.sous. We’re happy we were able to catch up with her for 12 Questions!
