Andy Rempel

Andy Rempel

The average runway show during Fashion Week lasts between 7 and 10 minutes, but there are literally months of preparation that go into making that few minutes memorable, with a tremendous flurry of activity at the very end. At the eye of that whirlwind are people like Andy Rempel, the stylists who make sure what trots down the runway in Lucite heels looks the way the designers envisioned it.

Andy is a stylist and designer specializing in women’s wear. He graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 2007 and has been busy making things happen behind the scenes in L.A. ever since. In addition to his work in fashion, Andy has been the costumer on a number of independent and studio films including Sweet Land and North Country.

We managed to catch Andy before he jetted off to a trade show in Firenze just long enough for him to answer 12 Questions.
