Emily Ryan Lerner

July 7, 2011

Emily Ryan Lerner is a writer and illustrator. She began self-publishing mini-comics (Anti-Social Commentary and Nice Catch) as a teenager. More recently, she has worked at Fantagraphics Books and DC Comics, designed many fine products for Buy, the International Center of Photography, and contributed illustrations to the New York Times and wrote and drew a wonderful comic in issue #5 of Whores of Mensa.

She currently lives in Los Angeles where she has been branching out beyond comics. More details on that soon!

In the meantime, you can keep up with Emily’s consistently cool website Lady Punk Monday. It’s inevitable that you’ll hear more about Emily Ryan Lerner so keep your ear to the ground!
