Buildings are an instrumental band from Washington, DC. Band members Collin Crowe (guitars), David Rjich (drums), and Nick McCarthy (bass) create music that blends soundtrack atmospherics with sharp indie-rock riffs. Defying the verse-chorus-verse conventions of vocal rock, Buildings songs are expansive, escaping the bounds of traditional rock, for an improvisational sweep that carries the listener away. The band incorporates film collage and plenty of shred into their live shows, making for a captivating experience that will move your body and your mind.

The band’s debut LP, Endless, was released on Sockets Records in the summer of 2009. The band’s new LP, Everything In Parallel, was recorded in 2011 by Devin Ocampo and was released on Sockets Records in January.
