It’s Monday morning, and in our office, that means METAL! What better way to kick off your week than the blazing wall of sound coming off Black Wing Halo‘s latest EP BWH. In the great New York noise-rock tradition, this rough and ready outfit delivers all the spine-tingling riffs, throbbing bass, gut-punching drums, and eardrum-shredding vocals you need to make Monday your bitch.

Black Wing Halo is Josh Weinstein (vocals/guitar), Stephanie Linn (vocals), Doug McGregor (bass) and Justin Hofmann (drums). Birthed from a solo project by Weinstein, Black Wing Halo has metamorphosized into it’s current line-up blending rowdy punk, rock n’ roll & 90’s grunge reflecting their ever- expanding love and admiration for noise. The four continue to spread to the masses, having played SXSW, NXNE, and CMJ, as well as sold out shows along the East Coast.

Give a listen to the EP while you read the interview and headbang your Monday doldrums away!
