The Dough Rollers

If you like your rock ‘n roll flavored with the whiskey and smoke piquancy of the blues, then we have a treat for you! The Dough Rollers released their newest single, “Lily” via Jack White’s Third Man Records. The Dough Rollers formed in 2008 when Jack Byrne and Malcolm Ford bonded over a mutual appreciation for blues.

On this release, Malcolm Ford (vocals, guitar) and Jack Byrne (guitar) are now joined by Josh Barocas and Kyle Olson on bass and drums, respectively, allowing the group to blend influences and genres into something distinct. Check out “Lily” and learn more about these rootsy rockers.

King live Nov. 1966, A Nod is as Good as a Wink to a Blind Horse by the Faces, The Chantels – Self Titled, Mi Gnan Mi Nibi by Soro N’Gana. I know it when I see it….

Malcolm:

Something you fear you’ve done wrong?

Jack:

If Christ is down with it. Things the Bible says are cool.

Kyle:

Consistent focus on that “greater good” and a diligence in understanding others

Don’t know how.

12.   Design your headstone: What does it say? What does it look like?

A pile of stones that says “Unless…” like at the end of the Lorax.
